Greetings All the way from the Middle East !

Welcome. Hamany. That was a nice and thorough intro.
There doesn't seem to be any other ex-Muslim members who are currently active. So, you'll be a good addition to the forum. Feel free to talk about anything you like. We also have a section for Islamic topics only. I understand. Since you already were a Muslim converting away from it would be seen as a major "sin" and direct blaspheme. Yeah, you're in a bad situation for sure. Sorry to hear that. Good luck with your education and future career!
Christian - A moron who believes that an all-benevolent God can simultaneously be a hateful jealous male-chauvinistic pig.
Wiccan - The epitome of cerebral evolution having mastered the magical powers of the universe and is in eternal harmony with the mind of God. Atheist - An ill-defined term that means something different to everyone who uses it. ~~~~~ Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. Clearly Jesus (a fictitious character or otherwise) will forgive people if they merely know not what they do For the Bible Tells us so! RE: Greetings All the way from the Middle East !

I dont consider my situation as *bad* as you might think ,in fact i am happy now without any fear.I am playing it smart and i knew someday i will tell my faimlly and friends that this is me if you like it ur welcome if u dont well good luck.reason this not happening right now is bascially because of the situation i am in doesnot really support it.i still dont have a job..still student atm..etc and you never know.maybe there will be time were i decide to live other country and such... in other word i still have a long way to go.no need to rush things up
G'day Hamany, from Adelaide South Australia.
Middle East but not afraid for your life for being a Muslim apostate? Egypt? Turkey? Israel? Not that it matters,I'm just being nosey. Welcome.
Stories like yours both inspire me and depress me. It's inspiring because it shows that even those living in the most exceedingly oppressive religion today can be converted to the side of free thought and inquiry. Depressing because you are stuck in an exceedingly oppressive society that WILL torture and possibly kill you for your rational thinking. Pity you don't live in the States or Europe where your expression of self would not result in such inhumane treatment. Still...at least you have this site! I wouldn't draw attention to it too much, however; I don't know how much the Saudi government spies on its own people but best to play it cool all the same. Better safe than dead, right? Welcome to the growing number of people forsaking superstition and embracing free inquiry, we can only hope that in our lifetimes we become the global majority!

Harmany, to our little corner of madness on the web.
Glad to hear that not EVERY person in the Middle East" is hidebound to their book . Good-luck with your studies... Check out the Science section on this forum... very interesting and you get to ask really silly questions (I do) all in the name of learning! Bravo, Hamany.
We tend to forget sometimes even when we bitch about jesus freaks shoving bibles at us that there is really no physical threat. They are a nuisance but rarely get to kill anyone for not accepting their particular holy bullshit story....although they doubtlessly would welcome that power again. It takes real courage to do what you have done over there. I salute you. (February 22, 2012 at 11:21 pm)Creed of Heresy Wrote: Stories like yours both inspire me and depress me. ( i am just guessing ) about the site attention.how dare you.I already loved it.i dont live in place were there is a freaking FBI and CIA watching every key i push in my keyboard.I think you should take it easy RE: Greetings All the way from the Middle East !

Don't stress, Harmany. ALL govt agencies are watching... and we don't care.
My take on it is... "Fine, you want to watch silly little me?? I'll give you something to watch and by the way; I prefer WHITE underwear do get it right!!" Oh and there is this I mean DAMN!
