Hi All. I'm Nishant Xavier, a Christian from India. I work as an Investment Banker in Wells Fargo. I have an MBA Finance and more recently cleared an educational certification called FRM (Financial Risk Manager). Those in finance would probably recognize it, others probably not. It is from a US organization, but internationally recognized. Anyway, philosophy/religion/spirituality etc are among my passions in my free time. I also very much believe in humanity working together to abolish poverty and hunger, which is more possible in our generation than it's ever been before. I plan on writing a book not long from now: "Why I believe in Jesus: 20 Reasons to be Christian" which is in progress. I have a website but not giving it here as I think that's against the rules. Anyway, that's pretty much it about me. Look forward to engaging and pleasant conversations with all of you.

It looks as though judgement has been passed on you. 

Normally within seven hours after someone new posts a greeting, people reply with "welcome" or "bring the tacos" or other things. But not in this case, I guess.

Also your thread on necessity and contingency has been deleted. 

Of course the moderators here have the right to shape the forum as they wish. It's not up to me. But the Internet is big and I hope you find a site which is more appreciative of your talents.

I had hoped to hear interesting things from you about economics. A man from India with your education might well have a different take on things like BRICS currency or the Belt and Road Initiative from we usually get. But I guess it's not to be.

Thank you, Belacqua. I want to comply with applicable rules, so I'll make sure not to add links till 30 days and 30 posts are up. I think that was an issue. Must be kind of tough living in a community and having a religious belief that's in the minority there. I personally wouldn't know anything about that.

You can keep the blessing, I get enough unwanted/insincere blessings here.
