Church members ban children so that they can keep their pedophile pastor.

I have studied the Bible and the theology behind Christianity for many years. I have been to many churches. I have walked the depth and the breadth of the religion and, as a result of this, I have a lot of bullshit to scrape off the bottom of my shoes. ~Ziploc Surprise

The pope wonders why he didn't think of this first.

Because then the Catholic church would have no youth attending at all.

This I know from scripture Christ will condemn this church for it's action. That has to be one of the worst things any church could do, this man is disqualified as a pastor for what he has done, this is also scriptural. This type of church is what gives the christian church a bad reputation in the eyes of many, I personally condemn what this church has done. With this said, I say this believing that the information is true.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Wow. Stay classy J-ville. Makes me a little sad to see that kind of stupidity in my hometown.

Disqualified as a pastor? He repented, truly and completely in his heart. He's been washed in the blood GC. They're just trying to keep it legal. I applaud the effort. Whether the information is true or not..lol.
(if this country were worth a shit people's records would be wiped clean once they were washed in the blood, what business do you (or we) have judging him after being forgiven by almighty god? I say I'm the christian and you're the heretic.)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I can sort of see where they're coming from; I can appreciate the message that just because a person had molested kids in the past, they deserve a second chance. That's sort of a big reason why I support Roman Polanski; the fact that his victim, Samantha Geimer, supports his release is another big one. But the fact is that the cases aren't very similar. While Roman's line of work doesn't necessarily have to involve a lot of work with little girls (fortunately, he doesn't really do movies with little girls in them; if memory serves, the only film he's done since with a pubescent girl in any prominent role was 2005's Oliver Twist), churches aren't really like that; if memory serves, didn't Jesus say "let the little children come unto me"? That's how the faith is really spread: carry it on to the kids. And, besides, it's not even like this is in the past: While there really isn't much evidence that Roman has molested any underaged girls since 1977 (and even during the trial, everyone involved didn't see him as too big a threat to California's prospective nymphets), this guy was convicted of statutory rape in 2009, and can't at least find a job that doesn't involve a lot of contact with kids.

Thank you for speaking out about this. You've got chutzpah.
I'm thinking that the video should be valid because the church had to choose between the children and the pastor. Sex offenders aren't supposed to have contact with children. Plus (and I could be wrong about this) I think "The Young Turks" show posts information from legitimate sources.
