After I finished playing NiGHTS I'd look into programming the holodeck. On the show they seem to be able to do this by dictating instructions to their computer. I'm sure a real holodeck wouldn't work like this without some sort of api running on top of it. I'd be eager to see how it all worked.

Sure you would. Most you dudes are saying the majority use would be other things, but just like your internets, 98% of it's use would be for porn.
