Which if done in the Name of God is the same thing.
Sorry... I don't do anything in the name of "God". I do it because it's the right thing to do. I don't do it to curry favor with an imaginary being.

Yet candidates are endorsed. I'm going to explain how this works to you, in case you are truly naive enough to believe that churches are content with such a separation.
501c3 cannot directly act on political motivations (without incurring possible tax obligations). 501c3 can setup up, oversee, or donate to 501c4 (or any 500series).
Politicians don't court the religious vote because they actually give a shit about you religious folks. They do it because there's a great deal of money in it for them.

Your delusions don't make something true. But then you wouldn't know since you were raised believing in them.

we have only two verses tied to NT giving 1 cor 16:2 and 2Cor 9:7
Neither one specify an amount (2 cor tells us to give what our hearts tell us to give) nor do they tell us we Must give to the Chruch. The command in 1 Cor simply states: On the first day of every week, each of you is to put something aside and store it up, as he may prosper, so that there will be no collecting when I come.
So if one wants to give to the Salvation Army in the Name of God it is the same as giving it to the Church.

Well, the Salvation Army is a religious organization-- However, it's not a house of worship or a church. I think the fact that they are not both called "Church" helps make the distinction that the Salvation Army is not a church. Lol

I'm sorry, I thought you'd have realized it on your own. Believing in the bolded part is the delusion I'm talking about.
