Hey there Fight for Jesus! I'm sure that you were hoping to have a moment with us such as
Jack Chick portrays in his little comics where the born again sites a quote or two from the Bible and the unbeliever says, "Wow! It says so in that there book! Well then I guess I was wrong all along and from now on I'm gonna be one Jesus-believin' sombitch!!"
I can see where a scenario such as this would appeal to a 16-year-old.
It's not going to happen.
Go do what normal 16-year-olds do. --- No don't go get drunk and steal a car but have a burger and a malt with a nice girl and do your homework. That sort of thing. Keep the Jesus thing to yourself other kids find the proselytizing annoying and it will make you look like a dork.
A mind is a terrible thing to waste -- don't pollute it with bullshit.

Oh yeah - you don't think, you absolutely know. Likewise, please convince me why you are right, and why I have to believe that you are right.
I'm not the one with something to prove jackass...
You are the thumpers in which believe in something without evidence to back it up other than a book. So please try and understand what I am meaning when I call for "Proof/Evidence".
As far as prejudging someone......Well, if you take a hundred people in which the outcome has been the same with them all, then please tell me what are the chances of the 101 person being different??
Very slim, HOWEVER, if he/she turns out to be different, I will admit my wrong...That's a lot more than I've seen come from your Christian flock.....

How is faith the equivalent of logic AND rationality?

Of course Science has not answered everything, but Science is the best we have at this point in retrieving unanswered question or ideas.
You have more faith than I do Fr0d0......I would much rather wait on Science to figure it out, than to simply believe in something just because it feels good, or for that matter, feels right.
And even when Science does figure something out and/or comes close, I still question it to some extent, but fortunately without the same type of ridicule you would find in questioning a follower of religion.

You can't build one on powdery snow either. So when possible: avoid desert and arctic real estate.
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam

Prove to me how science addresses everything we understand and I'll require proof. As it's completely illogical to make such a requirement of belief, I think I'll pass on your marginal philosophy for now thanks!

No youre wrong. I dont expect that to happen at all. I expect to be laughed at and ridiculed... Like Iam now... But im one of those types who just cant sit still and will fight even when he knows he'll most certainly lose.
