Hmm, his comment does a tremendous job at illustrating how humour is subjective.

Didn't even consider the sect v sect/ denomination v denomination competition!
And now that I think about it, you also have the idiots that kill themselves and accuse people within their own belief system of heresy due to a single divergence from the dogmas held by that group.
They just need to upscale their assault on each other a bit more...
My conclusion is that there is no reason to believe any of the dogmas of traditional theology and, further, that there is no reason to wish that they were true.
Man, in so far as he is not subject to natural forces, is free to work out his own destiny. The responsibility is his, and so is the opportunity.
