Lighthearted discussions~ Also Canada
July 1, 2012 at 9:44 pm
No heavy Canadian hearts here... we need one from somebody who had a good diet.
This is a Canadian heart, and it is also light. Nothing dark about it.
My heart is in Canada. That's where my killer is. I bet he ate it. What a dirtbag.
This heart is Canadian.
Because I said it was. Google must be omitting 'Exposed human heart Canadian' from their search results. What hookers.
I also couldn't find a Canadian's foot. Maybe google just doesn't like Canada. It's a conspiracy!
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day

Hey Violet; you're Canadian?
I'm half; mum was born in Vancouver, from a famous hockey family. I've been a couple of times, staying with friends in a place you've probably never heard of; Salt Spring Island,BC. If I couldn't live in Australia, I'd live in BC,either on Salt Spring or in Victoria.

Nay, Alaskan. Not that I'm proud of it or anything.

I don't even begin to know anything in Canada... why did you opt into living in Australia?

I'm so close to snapping... we have only been opened twice so far.
And we've scarcely gleaned a single tote today. Makes me sad.
Almost better to not fish at all -_-

Been to Vancouver once. Bounced on a suspension bridge. It made my sister and mum terrified and queasy
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I didn't. I was born here. Mum met dad in Vancouver during the war, came out here to marry him in 1946.
I live in Oz because I prefer it to Canada. Australia is rated one of the most livable countries in the world, with my city,Adelaide the most livable in Australia. (forget Melbourne, which is rated the world's most livable city.) Of the top 10 cities.Australia has three.

PS I'm only half serious. There are several such surveys, each giving different results. EG one declares Hong Kong as the world's most livable city, another claims Tokyo is the 'most loved' city on the planet.

Even better... we might have just been closed all season due to an abysmal king return (due to severe mismanagement alongside ocean failure). It'll be a major surprise if we fish our regular period on Monday... and if we don't we have the serious consideration of *never fishing again*. I'm more than a little pissed off. I'll make a thread on it later... or maybe I'll just unleash my bad self on hanging a new net.
For nothing.
