I wasn't much of a fan in making the bg grey in the first place, but at least with this it's more noticeable. Before it was hard to distinguish post from sig.

In all honesty I'd rather just go back to the way it was originally. But the way it is currently doesn't bother me.

I think it's a good shot, but maybe the border is too black. Maybe a 80 or 90% black would be better.

This is why I'd rather comment than not. Critique is the only way we're going to tweak things just-so. I'm glad our staff is open to these types of dialogue.
