To the Moderators, please!

He didn't tell me to say it, I did that of my own accord. Just like you can study any book and then make a positive comment as long as it is true to the text. I did the same.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Perhaps more people would debate you if they liked or at least respected you. If you have a point to make then make it but you can't expect your *ahem* fellow Christians to spar with you over every issue that's on the table and then when they don't you call them chicken or they are "running scared". Maybe you would have more people that would be willing to debate you if your approach weren't so abrasive. If you want to maintain that kind of relationship then head over to Debate.Org where the bulk of those visiting really get off on debating and seem to live for debating.

Does he still post here? He went very quiet after his cover was blown.

Yeah, a few here and there in other threads. I was thinking there may be a slim chance he would see my comment so I wanted to let him know my opinion on the matter. Nods of respect to you for blowing his cover.

As far as I could see any point you were making was irrelevant due to the information I provided in my response.

But if you'd like to go there, please do tell, exactly what your point was. Because frankly if it wasn't such a pointless post then maybe I wouldn't have to make pre-emptive strikes as to what I thought your argument would have undoubtedly been.

And I always find it hilarious that christians (or any theist for that matter) try to use critical thinking, but never do they apply it to the existence of their god. Oh the irony.

That's quite a good way of reinforcing a lie. "You may call my beliefs stupid and me an idiot - that just proves I'm right!" Not exactly something of which a grown adult ought to be proud, really. Personally, if someone was making mock of my beliefs and values, I might be tempted to re-examine them; it might be me that's out of kilter with reality.

I have examined and re-examined them. It's kinda that human nature thing most people do at some point.
The issue with mockery has nothing to do with being right nor does it reinforce the position that I am right. I'm sure that Godschild and Lion know what I'm referring to though.

Is this like some secret True Christian Club thing?

Indeed. I do wish those of our theist number who do this would simply get to whatever point they're going for, rather than trying to appear all mystic and deep and failing hard.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Whatever you think is fine but the comment was originally directed at two other people that know very well what I'm referring to. The fact that you decided to respond to a comment that was not directed at you is no fault of anyone's but your own. In other words,if i respond to someone out of the blue with no clue as to what im talking about i sure wouldnt act like somebody owes me an explanation of just what it is my comment was supposed to mean. Btw,it's not trying to appear mystical but should you like to actually read the bible ( as all atheists LOVE to claim ) you would find out what I meant.

Fine. If you want to play that game, then the comment to which you replied was directed at Napoléon. The fact that you decided to respond to a comment that was not directed at you is no fault of anyone's but your own. See where I'm going with this?

Also: what makes you think I haven't read your bible, as many theists LOVE to claim? I'm simply not a slave to it as others may be. Perhaps if you actually included the references you cite with your point, instead of vaguely hinting at the fan fiction, then I for one wouldn't be able to reach the conclusion I did. It is notable, for instance, that you didn't take the opportunity to actually reveal what, if anything, you did mean while refuting the charge of unnecessary mysticism, instead opting again for the pretense of smug superiority.

Actually, I only responded to Napoleon when he commented to me first. My original comment about mockery was to Godschild. So,yeah......you got no point there.
What makes me think you haven't read it Is that if you had read the bible you wouldn't have to ask me what I meant. You would already know.
Go ahead and do a bit of research ......ill wait.
Oh,and the smugness comment-I learn from the finest atheists around.

I repeat, I am not a slave to your book of superstitions as others may be. As a writer, I am always conscious of the need for clarity, out of basic respect for the reader. So I think we've reached the point where it's cards on the table time. If you have something to say, please say it. If not, go away.
