So, just a normal year then? I thoroughly intend to scare off aforementioned children (not yours, mind you) not with scary costumes but with eggs and waterbombs. That'll teach 'em to beg Devil

RE: Halloween
I already celebrated the holiday last night as Indiana Jones. Went out drinking downtown.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.

The usual, kids, candy....and then.....illicit substances and general debauchery hopefully in the middle of nowhere until I pass out. I've got some things to say to the wind...lol.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Wore my costume to a party last night (Member photo thread).

Plan to spend Halloween itself watching movies that have become tradition - Young Frankenstein has the spotlight.

I'm not doing anything. I'm too poor and too busy for such things. Also: I am a wet blanket. Maybe next year when I'm not writing papers.

Kids are going to be vampires, either hubby or I will take them trick-or-treating with the other person staying home to give out candy. It's going to be a muddy halloween, I think hubby should do the trick-or-treating.

I didn't really grow up doing holloween. My family did it a little some years but it was never a serious holiday in my house. It was treated more like a minor holiday like valentines or st. Patrick's day. Now as an adult I don't do it all.
My ignore list
