No shit. I've been trying to colour something in photoshop and I don't have a desk so I'm using the touchpad on my laptop....my finger hurts. T.T

In response to the OP..
PC! You can build a PC for less than $2000 with the same specs as a similarly configured Mac Pro that costs $8000+ I'm not going to say that Apple doesn't make high-quality products - they certainly do. And of course the appeal is great - they are pretty, (very shiny) and are arguably easier to use than a PC. But to be honest, if you have half a brain, you can open an internet browser on a PC, which is what the average person will be doing most of the time.. If you're heading into the graphic design, film, or music industry, macs have become the industry standard. I enjoy PC's far more, but that's just a preference of mine. But on a more objective note, the price per performance ratio of PCs is significantly better than that of a Mac. You're basically paying for the brand/nice metal/shininess. I'm too functional and practical to be attracted to spending hundreds/thousands of dollars on those items alone..

Dunno where you got the $8000 price tag. As for upgrading, only a fool buys their upgrades from Apple. $600 for an extra 4GB of RAM? Don't think so...
Just do the upgrade yourself, with cheaper (and sometimes better) parts.
I've been using an iPhone since April. In fact, while I complain about Apply products, I owe 4 iPods currently, this mainly due to upgrading.
- Shuffle 1st Gen (My very first iPod - got it free) - Nano 2nd Gen 1GB (Bought that when I went into the army) - Classic 120GB (Bought this when I went over to the UK and I now use it for long journeys) - Nano 3rd Gen 8GB (I use it daily for school and all...short trips mainly) Call me crazy, but I love iPods

iPods are great. I had a 5th generation 30gb iPod. I used it everyday, and eventually used it so much it shit the bed, so now I have an 8gb Nano. I couldn't afford an iPod touch, which I want sooo badly.

I guess I tend to go for the pricier stuff. I love my apples I also shoot with Canon.

I had a 5th gen 30GB iPod, and I loved that thing. I left in on the bench in the changeroom at the gym, and when i realized it, 10 mins later, it was long-gone.

My little sister accidentally left her iPod that My sister and I bought for her in her school bag and took it to school, someone went through her locker and stole it.

I dislike the seamless trackpad design... and it even transfered to the apple mouse. Now there is always a little uncertainty about right-clicking vs left clicking... but at least this time it isn't a single button mouse. Also, i hugely am not a fan of the apple laptop's sharp edges... not good for resting one's bare arms. Another registrable complaint is the keyboard that came with the iMac I bought: holy fuck it is tiny (and two keys don't always work). Anyway, besides the hardware faults and the lack of initial virus support and video game support: Mac has a multitude of features that I just can't give up. If you were to give me a PC... put a dock on it... make simple key-bindings for it... add the command button and remove that terrible flag... and a few other things: I wouldn't notice a difference... except that now I can play decent video games on my computer (aside from civ 4, which is overly complicated with a high learning curve, and unstreamlined. Civ Revolution is much better. What I would pay for the original MoO to be revamped ^_^) Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
