Lady rises from the dead

RE: Lady rises from the dead
Sorry I should have clarified that point. Of course rigor mortis doesn't set in and we're talking about "clinical death" where the patient has no signs of life (no pulse, no breathing), and it can last a number of hours. The body has simply decided to shut itself down and then starts back up later.

Really Daniel??

Not without medical help does the body "start-up" later...or are you trying to shoehorn the supposed "cllinical deaths that occurred at a time back before the 19th Century??

Thinking could have been earlier...man!! You really need to get a major update! Tongue

You do know that 'I don't know' does not equal to 'Goddidit!', right?

You just might want to acquaint yourself with the AF Etiquette Guide for Theists.

Quote:God has made himself knowable to the person who desires to seek after the truth. He is not a distant God, he speaks he interacts, he does all sorts of things in a Christians life. I am glad I have God.

I have a book and several other christians on the line that says that no one can know god, so aren't you special.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Um, yes it can. Here's an example: Link That case isn't unique.

Ummm I don't think that proves your point Daniel. Have you read it through?? Sounds more like Islamic misogyny and medical malpractice to rid a man of his wife in Saudi Arabian controlled Kuwait more than anything else. I also note that the "Asian" worker that "discovered the woman screaming" no longer works at the hospital?

Try again dearie Big Grin

Yes, but that still is not what that doctor claims in this particular case. As soon as he mentioned "rigor mortis" he was flat out lying. Again, he should lose his license and be sued and bard from practice in the future.

I said in my early post that people often "seem dead" but are not past the window in reality. This is merely very minute flying under the radar. I agree.

BUT ONCE AGAIN, the story claims that this woman survived rigor mortis. FLAT OUT LIE.

And the Fox reporters should be fired for not doing their ethical job by exposing this con for the con it was. But this is exactly how Fox makes it's money. Preys on the credulity and desperation of the viewer.

I have to agree with Kichi on this one. If the body really is dead, it'll stay so. The malpractice of the doctors does not equal a dead woman. Working with dying people has taught me that the human body can be on the verge of death with barely any life signs and the next day the patient starts to talk again. Whaddaya know, almost dead doesn't quite cut it Tongue

The case isn't unique Kichi, there are people that have woken up in morgues all over the world.

Google "Kelvin Santos". He woke up in his coffin, and then died again shortly after.

It's known to happen, get with it!

More likely malpractice...do try to keep up with the 21st century Daniel..I know it's hard for you and all, but DO TRY Big Grin

SO?

That still does not mean someone survived rigor mortis. That is merely a misdiagnosis. Being stuck in a body bag doesn't mean you are dead by itself.

You are never going to put a camera on a bloated body where the blood has settled to the point of gravity and stiffened and then have that process reversed.

If someone starts moving in a body bag, that means the doctors and nurses fucked up. Nothing more.
