Lady rises from the dead

Lady rises from the dead
Hi,

I have often made claims that our ministers can raise the dead back to life. But it is often hard to get proof of this. The following news story records a time when a lady came back to life after being clinically dead for 17 hours. She was under medical supervision for this time so it has been recorded. She attributes coming back to life to God.

The story is titled "Woman Wakes After Heart Stopped, Rigor Mortis Set In" and can be found at the following link

Let us know when someone is 'brought back from the dead' after being clinically dead for 10 years, then we might pay attention!

What a bitch to undermine the talented people and the science they utilised/employed to bring her back from the brink of death, by attributing it to her fairytale's main character.

Fox news hey? Of course they are completely reliable aren't they.

But here is another slant on the story from a REAL doctor

http://theness.com/neurologicablog/index...-the-dead/

Quote:For example, FoxNews wrote this:

Thomas’ heart stopped around 1:30 a.m. Saturday and doctors said she had no pulse. Rigor mortis started to set in, and she was placed on a respiratory machine.

That last sentence is laughable – why would you ever put someone with rigor mortis on a ventilator? You also would not put someone on a ventilator if they had no circulation. Rigor Mortis occurs 2-4 hours after tissue death. It is the result of muscle cells having no energy – the no-energy state of muscle fibers is the contracted position. It takes energy in the form of ATP to relax and rest the muscle fibers so that they can contract again.

There is no coming back from rigor mortis. To suggest that this patient had rigor mortis and then came back to life is absurdly ignorant. Every journalist involved with this story who let that claim pass should be ashamed of their own incompetence.

In addition to the point Zen made, there is a specific key phrase that caught my attention. It said in the article:
Quote:doctors honestly can’t explain how she is alive today

Aah we meet again, Argument from Ignorance!

Also, The OP has not made a single link between the "miraculous" (or rather not) revival of the "dead" lady and his ministers apparent healing capabilities. Nor has he even managed to accurately link this story with the supernatural. And on that matter, why does he say it's hard to get proof of his ministers "resurrections"? How the FUCK could a massive (exaggeration yeah, shut up) group of zombies go completely unnoticed, drawing NO attention whatsoever?!!? I think you need a fucking good reason for the lack of evidence for that claim.

This thread is an absolute failure. I wish these amateur apologists would take a good look at their "evidence" and review it's validity before trashing the forums with this shit. All the religious folk ever seem to do is compile a load of random crap that looks vaguely supernatural-esque and jam it down our throats, all at once, and shout "GOD!"

Remove the head or destroy the brain... this is something I will always remember if someone who is apparently dead comes back to life in front of me.

Quote:Thomas, 59, was rushed to a West Virginia hospital, where she was put on a special machine to induce hypothermia. This would allow her body to cool down for 24 hours before they would warm her up again, doctors explained.

I bet that machine has more to do with it than your fucking god.

Praise the...! Worship (large) doctors and medical science.

Prick.
You are currently experiencing a lucky and very brief window of awareness, sandwiched in between two periods of timeless and utter nothingness. So why not make the most of it, and stop wasting your life away trying to convince other people that there is something else? The reality is obvious.

What a piss poor attempt to say "SEE SEE SEE"

Do you know the difference between clinical death and permanent death?

All "clinical" means is finding no vital signs. If someone "comes back" it merely means that their vitals flew under the raidar. So it amounts to a misdiagnosis.

Permanent death is when the damage to tissue and cells cannot be reversed in the vital parts of the body. Once you are permanently dead you are permanently dead. Period, no one comes back from that.

I'd sue that doctor and hospital for malpractice. Someone screwed up, but no one died.

Coming close to death is not the same as being permanently dead. There was not enough stoppage in her cells for the cells in her body to be irreversibly damaged, therefor the window was not closed.

I'd also find the "hospital" itself suspect too. Did it ever occur to you maybe the story was concocted to bring attention to the staff there? People can have an agenda and credulous reporters like those at Fox love praying off your gullibility.

Please, never become a doctor or nurse or EMT.

Let me add.

IF IF IF IF IF she had actually had died rigor mortis would have taken place long before 17 hours.

Go look up the medical stages of death(meaning beyond the window, after it is shut).

She never died.

The options are.

1. Equipment failure
2. Misdiagnosis
3. Improper use of equipment by nurse or doctor with misdiagnosis.

Or

The hospital is flat out lying because it wants donations.

No one survives rigor mortis so the story is a hoax PERIOD and you and the gullible god mongers at FOX bought it.

The reporters at Fox should be fired for spreading such nonsense and lies. But lies are what Fucks News is all about.
