Disable embedded media on mobile

When viewing on my iPod, threads with lots of posts with embedded media such as YouTube videos causes Safari to crash every time. The playlist thread for instance I can't access without crashing. If there was a way to stop embedded content from loading automatically on mobile devices, that would be neato.

Hmm, well I'm using an iPhone 4 from around the same time, and with iOS 5. Works fine for me. :S

It doesn't for me either Tiberius ...zoning might be an issue? Just thinking.

It would be a cool extra option, I see no reason not to allow it.
But then I'm technologically stupid, so...
