Glad to see you're not all as rude as dudeofawesome.

I no longer consider myself a Christian for a reason that pretty much sums up most of the Atheistic communities resasons for you know... Not believing in God. This reason is.... proof. I don't see the proof in ANYTHING in Christianity. Why dosen't God keep doing his thing today? He walked on water (something impossible) through Jesus. He promise to be back here. But, why hasn't he come back? Why dosen't he keep performing miracles through another Jesus? Answer me these questions, TheLameMayWalk.
The proof is in the belief. Atheists compare belief in God to belief in anything else that requires proof, and I understand your point. I like to have evidence for claims as well. But I see God as above this vocabulary and above this logic. You don't need physical evidence for God (I would say the Earth, but I'd probably be ripped apart), but rather, your simple faith.
Beat me to it. Rudeness, aka heated debate, can be a consequence of this kind of discussion forum. Just not in here - and not on my watch.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
