So I am a doctoral student and researcher , a private pilot and I mess around in a band :-S

So I am an recently deconverted ex-christian from Scotland who moved to Ireland last year. Being a gay guy who was sent to a Catholic school kinda messed up my teen years, and all the homophobia from the top (such as the ex-popes "homosexuality destroys the human creature") speech made me realise that it was well nonsense (I actually read the OT for the first time ever and Talking Donkeys? Destroying whole cities for being "evil") its kinda immoral isn't it.

Eventually I realised that I am gay, I didn't choose to be that way and if its such a "sin" then God either must hate us, must be powerless or far more likely (Considering scientific discoveries) non-existent .
