The WIN/Gallup End of Year Survey 2013 found the US was perceived to be the greatest threat to world peace by a huge margin, with 24% of respondents fearful of the US followed by: 8% for Pakistan, and 6% for China. This was followed by 5% each for: Afghanistan, Iran, Israel, North Korea. -LINK "That's disgusting. I'm sorry cato, but I will not discuss hardcore politics & religion in this topic. But allow me to say that an atheist should not carry on a believe that "Palestine" belong to the "Jews".. you can ask about the story of that claim, which is mentioned in the bible. RE: AtlasS..

Technically, Palestine "belongs" to Israel, not "teh jews". So sayeth the the F-series air superiority fighters.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I chimed in precisely because you were discussing politics. I point out a bit of inconvenient history and you want to take your ball and go home. Typical. It was all in the context of "racism" examples, and why I don't tolerate it & Aractus tolerates it sometimes. It wasn't a talk about "racism itself" rather than "why do you tolerate it". But no, no politics : ) and try to put yourself in my shoes. Not backing off caused a very big problem between me & the members here ; something that I regret until now. When I take my ball & go home, I'm doing it because I sense heat ; I don't like that heat. I'm staying away from anything that might start a trouble, including speaking about matters like this outside a debatable context. This topic is personal, when discussing religion or politics in it, the discussion would also be "personal". I'm talking here as "Mohammed" not as "AtlasS" :p and mohammed in real life doesn't discuss religion & politics when he sets with his friends in a cafe. I'm sorry if this post offended you in any way. Okay..Just to prove to you that I'm not running, I'll open up a topic soon about this in the religion section. RE: AtlasS..

You are one confused individual. How in the hell can you justify to yourself that you were talking about racism, but not talking about 'racism itself'? No wonder you think you weren't talking politics.
Oh, and your idea of starting a political thread in the religion section seems a little misplaced also. RE: AtlasS..

No wonder you think you weren't talking politics. Cato, you linked Israel with what I was discussing with Aractus, the issue of Israel is religious before being political. It's impossible to discuss Israel without mentioning the jews, the muslims, the bible, the "promise". I didn't mention Israel, you did. in the end of my previous post, I said that I'm opening a topic -not about racism- but about Israel in the religious section, since it contains a lot of talk about religion. How do you see that confused ? Then, when speaking also with Aractus, I told him my opinion in racism. I didn't bring him links about it or anything serious, I also tried to ask him more about Australia ; that's not even "discussion". It's more like swapping info about each other's mentalities. How do you see that as a Hardcore political discussion ? You can also check how the subject turned quickly into a discussion about drugs, because really I didn't want to discuss anything debatable. But you have the right to think whatever you want to think about me. I can't change that, but again I'm sorry if I offended you in any way :. RE: AtlasS..

Can't wait for that topic, you know, remove religion as a justifiable basis for what have you and we're left with a political conundrum, why split the state, if the residents want it then I guess they can make that case, but that doesn't mean that it will succeed (look at US history).

The problem is that anything political about it also has religious backgrounds, this what I was telling cato about. The residents themselves are thinking this way ; it's not a matter of politics only to them. I don't agree with you on this, Rhythm. |
