You can't even go by domination. Most don't understand what makes Baptist and Methodist any different. It drives me up the wall! UGH... Its a load of Bullshit

There is no difference in Jesus!

If you read your own response you will realize they "ALL" follow Christ, and they "ALL" follow rules.

So, whats the problem?

*Actually I understand cherry-picking very well.

"sin" was nailed to the cross, so that we don't have to die spiritually.

The "ten commandments" are God's direct words to us! They are a guide to live by. To deny that is to deny God & Jesus' sacrafice for us!

Yes, we can be saved by professing Jesus as our Lord and Saviour.

But there are our words, and then our hearts. You/me can say anything...but do we mean it? Even people doing God's work will NOT be saved!

Jesus said, "Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!"

It's like trying to nail down jello. They'll just claim that you don't know what it is they believe, when they can't themselves agree on it.

You weren't really expecting to get to get another kind of answer, were you Savannahw.

When I was a kid, christian friends at our house would in no uncertain terms tell you what other denominations were going to hell and would have told Ronedee what he could do with his pope.......

That was then ...since the the people running this carnival of christianity have rangled all the circus acts into one big "voting block"..........it's all wink,wink,nudge,nudge....weeeez all goooood.

Example: I've got protestant family and mormon family......get them together....you know what you DON'T HEAR.....anything about religion.....which is odd because I thought where your and your loved ones souls are going is tops on their lists of important things.................

Christians no longer follow the Old Testament laws because they are Judaic, meant for the Jews.

Some do.....

But yet they still hold the ten commandments as rules that every Christian must follow. Remember when they were pulling that ten commandments statue out of the Alabama supreme court building after Judge Roy Moore had it put in under cover of night? They were yelling & screaming about "get your hands off our god."

And when it comes to the bible condemning homosexuality, they always bring up Leviticus 18:22, but never follow any of the other Levitical laws. It's like

"The bible condemns homosexuals, just read Leviticus 18:22!"
"What? The bible says to not eat shellfish or pork? Aw, those are just old dietary rules that were put down for the Jews. Those don't apply any more." It's the same damn book in the bible!

OK, then do you also follow the rules set down in Leviticus? If not, then why not? Those were also God's rules to live by. Have you sacrificed any animals in a burnt offering lately? I think my town has laws against that, at the very least the smell disturbs the neighbors.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

I never stated Christians did not have more excuses than a black person going to jail. Wink

I'm sure the idea of it all really gets your rocks off.

Because there's few things a fundie Christian loves more than watching another human being be tortured for eternity.

Protip: don't accidentally splooge in the popcorn bag.

You didn't read what I said, either that or you're dumb as a gourd. You judge me by your desires, I believe that is quite unfair seeing that I'm a reasonable person who would like to see you in the Kingdom of God. All those who gave you kudos are just like you.
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Apparently, G-C, you really don't appreciate what a self-righteous prick you sound like.
