A lot of women are against abortion... until they find themselves unexpectedly pregnant with no desire to be, and no support for the result.

Women don't have a special right to tell other women what they should or should not do, and they should not feel like they have this right. If it makes you feel better that you're aiding some women while telling the rest of the women to forget about their rights, that's your own personal issue and irrelevant to whether or not denying women abortion is bad for women.

There are mothers who are against abortion as well.

Of course there are. If women are against abortion, what do they end up being? Mothers! What point are you trying to make here?

I think if you read properly, she said "a lot of". Still, is there a point to this?

Yes, it can be a point to those who blame only males for opposing abortion or those who never got pregnant.

I know several women who have had abortions and who are also mothers. I, too, fail to see the relevance of this point.
