Why is it that God's manner to heal people relies mainly on medical science? God has never cured diseases that man has managed to cure. God still doesn't cure amputees and never will until mankind figures out how to regrow limbs.
Well...[seriously if its possible] would you prostrate yourself and worship God, if an amputee grew a limp, and praised God for it?
Or, better yet....if a man were raised from the dead, and praised God for it?
Let me predict here if I may.... No!

That would be lying.

If a man grew back a limb and the reason could verifiably be traced back to a god, we'd definitely need to have a little chat.

I'm sure many amputees grow a limp.

Drich knows everything about the military, with the apparent exception of the fact that even combat troops are indeed allowed to spend at least the minute or so necessary to pose for a photo inside of a base or other permanent or semi-permanent facility.

It would be proof that your God exists and that he actually gives a fuck about the well-being of people. That would be plenty to earn my goodwill (No being deserves worship of the religious variety no matter what they do or how powerful they are).
Of course, if your God was actually real and actually gave a fuck, you wouldn't have to make up these what-if scenarios, would you?

If you think I'm inventing motives and putting words in other people's mouths, I suggest you read through the Christian posts on this site, including yours.
Your claim that Christians take the high just isn't supported by the evidence, but then again, nothing that comes out of your mouths ever is.

Well, hello, Mr. Fucking Liar.
You'd think that if you were the theist around here known best for inventing motives and putting words in other people's mouths, and you leave behind an embarrassing surplus of proof that you do it all the time, your two brain cells would create at least enough friction to make you realize that it's really stupid to pretend that you don't do these things.

How many christians ignore this biblical cure when they get a bacterial infection???
Cleansing ritual from leprosy:
Get two birds. Kill one. Dip the live bird in the blood of the dead one. Sprinkle the blood on the leper seven times, and then let the blood-soaked bird fly away. Next find a lamb and kill it. Wipe some of its blood on the patient’s right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle seven times with oil and wipe some of the oil on his right ear, thumb and big toe. Repeat. Finally find another pair of birds. Kill one and dip the live bird in the dead bird’s blood. Wipe some blood on the patient’s right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle the house with blood 7 times.

Also, stop using this argument until the day you've united the thirty thousand denominations of your religion into one whole, okay? Otherwise, you just look like a hypocrite.

If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.
Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.
Quote:Some people deserve hell.
I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Prolly writing angry letters to those asshole USMC Reservists for their Toys For Tots campaign.
Some of the letter's talking points-
A) Christmas is about our Lord and Savior, not some snappy dressed draft dodger usurping Christ's significance! Quit giving orphans playthings, dickheads!
B) A 'campaign' for gifts? I wonder how many heroes this 'campaign' will produce?
C) Go get shot at so I can think highly of you again. (Unless you're athiests...then please eat a bullet.)
...You catch the drift.
