Theists are ignorant and gullible, willing to believe something exists when there is no proof of its existence.

That would be employing the Argumentum ad populum fallacy. Just because millions of people follow a particular religion does not make their god real.

Loool we're gullible? You guys are willing to believe anything the scientist says, even if its reallllly ridiculous e.g we popped out of nowhere suddenly for no reason

Seriously guys, you need to realise how silly this sounds

The vast majority of atheists can be convinced that a god exists if we are presented with evidence and reasoned argument. That is being open minded.

We don't 'worship' scientists.

You certainly do know all the theist fallacies about atheism and science. Troll or POE?

Quote:Truth is, they don't have answers, perhaps you should start looking elsewhere because they will never answer the question of whether God exists as it is beyond their capability.

The fact that we don't have the answers does not mean that 'God did it' becomes the best answer.

For someone that claims that the knowledge of the existence of this god is beyond our capability, you sure seem to know a lot about his attributes. Explain how you know this?

Quote:I think you should all read the Quran sometime in your lifetime, and please don't reply telling me its this and that, its probably nothing like you think of it.

I read it. It is full of superstition, scientific absurdities, barbarism.

Gullibility?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Not all scientists are atheists. Also, these atheist scientists are not the ones who first made the claim that there has to be a god, so it's not their responsibility to prove that there is one. But since you've made the claim of god several times now, it looks like the burden of proof is all on you.

How's that working out for you so far?

Gross generalizations.

Quote:some of you worship scientists even though they THEMSELVES have said they only understand 4% of the universe.

Quote, please.

Quote:Truth is, they don't have answers

Bingo! And what's wrong with the answer "I don't know."?

Quote:perhaps you should start looking elsewhere because they will never answer the question of whether God exists as it is beyond their capability.

And you can? Proof of (a) god(s), please!

Quote:I think you should all read the Quran sometime in your lifetime, and please don't reply telling me its this and that, its probably nothing like you think of it.

And you don't think that there are people here, who have read it?

Quote:Islam is a religion started with a shepherd, and now has over 1 billion followers and counting ESPECIALLY in the Western world, perhaps you should think why?

Argumentum ad populum.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Our current understanding of the origins of the universe is anything but silly. Just because you lack the intelligence to comprehend the science does not invalidate the truth. It merely makes you appear retarded.

Now, on the other hand, a magical sky daddy that cannot be bothered to prove its existence to humanity is a silly thing in which to believe exists. God is merely the imaginary friend for adults who cannot be bothered to grow up. Sad and pathetic.

(I told you you'd see some real disrespect if you hung around. Do you really think you are the first person to trot out the rather tired old telelogical argument for your particular god?)

You definitely aren't the 'people of understanding' God was talking about hahaha

"Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding."

"Those who remember Allah while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire."

"Deaf, dumb and blind, they do not return"

"You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward "

"Do those who disbelieve not see that We created the heavens and the earth from a joined entity and We split it apart? And We made out of water every living thing, will they then not believe?"

Don't worry, He WILL prove it to you one day, but what benefit will that bring to you on a day when all the doors of forgiveness and repentance are closed?
Life is short, stop waiting around for the scientists to give you answers, they can't, you were brought here for a reason, find that reason before its too late
