All fish produce fish. It has never been observed that a fish produce anything but fish.
Cats produce cats.
Dogs produce dogs.
We have no record of anything other than an animal produces the same kind.
Simple science.
So then find me a mainstream scientific source that says that evolution is one species giving birth to offspring of another species, and you might have a point.
Or can't you do that?
a mainstream source "says".
Are you saying actual observation or is it just a conclusion based on assumptions?
Also the definition of species is important.

Grace, what everyone here is telling you is that you are fundamentally misunderstanding evolutionary principles- you are are arguing against things that no evolutionary scientist claims, yet you keep ignoring that and repeating the same strawman. If you're going to make an argument against something, learn what it's saying first.

Surely there's something in the atheistforums.org rules about what Grace is doing. Can't we just ban her and end this embarrassment?

It's really simple: find me a textbook, or a paper, or a scientist, accepted by the mainstream scientific community, who defines evolution as a process by which we would expect an animal to give birth to something that isn't the same species as it.
Like you said, dogs breed dogs. Since you've claimed evolution says this, find me a single mainstream source that claims that, because evolution is true, we should see dogs breeding something that is not a dog. You go ahead and find that, and I will convert to christianity right here, because that, good sir, would be a miracle.
PS: You know what else is important? The definition of a kind.

I gave simple facts. No, Grace, you did not. I have been studying and experimenting in the lab in evolutionary molecular biology for many years, and you are fundamentally misunderstanding the theory and the mechanisms. You are arguing against strawmen. Many people here would be happy to educate you, but you don't listen- you just keep repeating that you are right and experts in their fields are wrong, to the point of insisting we are saying something we are not saying. Please get the concepts clear first. That means you need to LISTEN when an expert tells you that you do not understand the theory. THEN you can argue the mechanisms.

If the modern republican party were like the Republican Teddy Roosevelt, I would have no problem with them. Teddy was anti monopoly and anti exploitation. Unfortunately he was ahead of his time and despite all the good he did, the great depression still happened.
Teddy Roosevelt would be thrown out of the modern (there's an oxymoron) republicunt party. So would Eisenhower. So would Reagan.

Since when does evolution say any different? A dog giving birth to a cat would completely void the theory of evolution, and that's not what the ToE says or ever has said. That's just what idiot fundamentalist Christian creationists say as a straw man argument.
Christian apologetics is the art of rolling a dog turd in sugar and selling it as a donut.

Whatever happens, please don't ban this one. My children -- each of whom understands evolution better than Grace -- are getting quite a kick out this embarrassment.
Said one, "I can't believe there are people this stupid in the world."
I consider it an ongoing teachable moment for my kids on the dangers of Christian belief. Grace is one of the best "recruiting tools" atheists could wish for. Please let the idiocy continue.
