NyQuil contains paracetamol (acetaminophen), which is metabolised in the liver. Drink on top of that, and your liver won't feel fine and I can guarantee you one hell of a hangover. It also contains dextromethorphan, which usually enhances all the nasty parts of alcohol, e.g. dizziness and disorientation. [Sources: I'm a pharmacist-to-be ] When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

How long should I wait after taking NyQuil before I can get to the whisky? Don't cry, poca! I'm the one who should be crying! I don't wanna grow up!
Dammit... now I'm sick AND depressed! Thanks Poca :p
Happy birthday, dear.
Are you legal yet? (October 19, 2013 at 6:43 pm)rexbeccarox Wrote: Dammit... now I'm sick AND depressed! How long should I wait after taking NyQuil before I can get to the whisky? The max dose for acetaminophen is 3-4g/24h. According to recommendations you should not ingest more than 2g/24h if you have been drinking, but I say to leave it be altogether. In other words, have you taken acetaminophen, wait for a day at least. When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way?
