Might be chatpilot.

But to argue that god is not verifiable must mean that the bible does not count as verification. To follow up with bible quotes leads to self refutation.

The bible isn't verifification, what makes one lot of scripture more valid than another? why should the age of a written work count for anything and if it wasn't written by man but through him then I could write a scripture right now and god's go between and fuck gods real plan up today.

Exactly my point PR! As an atheist I don't accept the bible as the word of god or any other so called deity. What they know about their god comes from the bible and their own acceptance of what is written there as proof of his/her/its existence. Other peoples so called revelations in my view are not a valid method of truth finding.
Hey CP, it seems you have more in common with fr0d0 than we probably both thought. You don't by that bible shit and he neither.

This thread seems to come to some form of consensus.

I guess so PR. But fr0d0 does accept the bible as the word of god although his interpretations are of an advanced theological nature. I don't accept the bible as valid at all for anything but filling holes in the wall so I can plaster over its pages.

Since you have argued that nothing of the thing you call god can be verified, not even it's name can be verified and not even the bible can be used to verify. Consequently all of god is fantasy. And that is only drawing a rational conclusion from your own words.

Debating the existence of god with a christian is akin to chasing your own tail if you had one to chase that is.

All congratz to fr0d0 who just singlehandedly debunked theology.
