Movies that made me cry
|
Just in the past ten years, I've started crying whenever I watch anything. A soap opera. A drama. A comedy. An action flick. All have poignant moments that leave me crying. We're watching a Japanese comedy-drama series with my J-club, and I cry through about 1/3 of it. Fortunately we watch in a darkened room, so my tears aren't noticed, and I cry less overtly because there are people around.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LvAIBDGIYE0 These are the only 2 scenes I can think I cried at ever and I don't remember why, the willy wonka one was when I used to get stoned a lot so maybe that was why with that one. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
I can't seem to find the specific scene on YouTube, but the final scene where Sully says goodbye to Boo broke me down completely.
A.I. made me cry so hard I will never be able to watch it a second time. It hurt so much.
Bridge to Terabithia also nearly made me drown to death in my own tears. A lot of movies make me cry at least a little. I cry very easily. The way that girl just died because apparently an 11 year old was out on a date with his teacher was too weird for me.
The book is WAY better

Read it. It's amazing, the movie was so horrible!

Ever since I turned 13/14 I haven't been able to cry I just get angry and want to destroy the thing that upset me. Testosterone I guess? Closest I ever was to crying was when Wilson gets lost in Cast Away. For some reason that was far more devastating than a bloke losing a football should ever be.
