Please get rid of Duck Dynasty. I'm so tired of the stereotypes associated with a thick southern accent.

Shows that should not exist!
|
that Gypsy Wedding show is Gawd awful. My sis watches it. The gypsy girls have tried to out-do the last wedding for so long, they need a pit crew to help them carry their frigging dresses around! I'm not gonna lie, its slightly humorous to see them attempt a doorway. But that is marred by the bride or wedding party getting into a catfight outside the courthouse! (oh yes, that happened)
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.
^ agreed. I'm not a fan of any bride/wedding shows though.
I watch very little TV nowadays. Occasionally local news, The Weather Channel, or sports (soccer and auto racing, mainly, but I do get into the Olympics, which are just around the bend). But I'll say I am still reeling from my ex-housemate's fixation on The Simpsons, five years after the fact.

I'm not a fan of the Simpsons at all. That show should have died out long, long ago.

That was one of my absolute favorite non-music shows they did. (Plus, Industrial Zone was on in that same era too, so that helped my opinion of MTV ) Well, my list would pretty much be all those 'reality competition' shows. Mostly because those interview cut scenes annoy the shit out of me. They jump out of nowhere in the middle of the action (what little action there is) and it's beyond obvious that they're completely scripted. Cut to person crying.."I can't believe this happened, I wasn't expecting that!"... Yes you were, the producers told you all that.
What happened to all the good shows?
The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Probably one of the saddest shows I've ever seen in my life. The Bachelorette makes me physically sick, and the Bachelor just makes me rage wicked hard. The notion that your gonna find true love by competing with 20 other people over the course of 2 months, and then marriage is expected afterwards is completely ridiculous. With the other people there, you pretty much get what accounts to a week of getting to know someone and you're supposed to fall completely in love with them. It's just......really sad and desperate.
Real Housewives of Whatever. Gag Anything on A&E.
The bachelor shows are pretty awful.
I have to admit though, Flavor of Love was a guilty pleasure of mine back in the day.
Doctor Who.
