l'm in an inter-racial relationship myself, though I've always disliked the term as it exemplifies our ethnic backgrounds should have some kind of significance, when they really don't to us. We haven't met much prejudice, probably because of the area of the country we live in, and it being more common. Though I share your digest for this man and people like him. I think one poster pointed out that you more than likely share the complexity of the man he worships. Kind of hypocritical..

You should shoot him an email or phone call and tell him the daughter is pregnant.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

After pretending to be "Non-Prejudice" and a "Man of faith", his daughter (my girlfriend of almost 2 years), finally broke down saying she cannot continue to hide the fact that her father repeatedly attempts to pursue her to not date me because I am an atheist and a man of color (i am half greek/ half syrian).
