He is certainly no liberal. he is a doctrinaire leftist. Liberalism is not anti capitalism.
I don't see what you have against anti-capitalism. I can understand why you hate the multiculti left, I hate them just as much, but what is wrong with anticapitalism? I am no longer a leftist because I reject multiculturalism & cultural relativism in favor of cultural conservatism & imperialism, but I am most certainly anticapitalist & anarchist communist.

Also, what is it with the idealization of work? As Marx said, in communist society work shall be merged with play. In this sense the left & the right are the same. They both idolize work. The left has betrayed its objectives in favor of workism, because they need an ideologized worker or else they don't have a revolutionary element. The right needs work so that they can call leftists "dirty Marxists who have never worked a day in their lives". The objective is to abolish wage labor, to create a society based off voluntary work, where all work voluntarily to express their creative urges & conformity is abolished.

Most early leftists would be anti-leftist if they were alive today. Marx was certainly no fan of cultural relativism, as evidenced by the quote in my signature. Kropotkin was a cultural imperialist as evidenced by his support of WWI.
