Yes Captain. I really believe it.
Some of us (and myself) have been watching for it for 4 decades.

We saw Russia shrink upon itself, then open up for trade.
Glasnost ,it was called (whenever communism ran into trouble it had a sudden Glasnost and an injection of money- to keep the kept dog of capitalism afloat).

And now it has close ties with fundamentalist Muslim governments- mutual defense agreements.
Russia has been an armorer for them.
Russian tech has been the foundation of Iran's nuke program.

Israel now has vast natural gas fields (will compete with Russia eventually).
Israel also has newly discovered oil.

Russia Today on youtube never has anything good to say about tiny Israel.

The prophecy says God will put a hook in the jaw of Gog and will bring him down to the land of Israel (He calls it, "My land") to bring him to judgment- him and all his hordes.

I haven't the slightest doubt it is coming.
Prophetic people in out day have seen it beforehand.

Israel is not a chosen land. This is the problem with Christianity. It preaches/teaches that Israel is some 'holy chosen' place, and that any country who messes with it, is going to perish. *Sigh*

I find it sad that you don't see all human life, as equal. As if Israel is somehow 'better than' the countries that come against it, simply because you believe what you've read in the Bible. *Sigh again*

Ah Deidre, I do see all of us as equal.
I totally agree with the framers of the US Declaration of Independence.
We also can equally do whatever we want.
The Jewish people are not special.
They are chosen in the sense that they were selected.
Selected for a purpose.
They are - right now, largely, in a state of unbelief.
You might realize that they have paid a very heavy price.
They have been a target because their presence in the land ( repeatedly God calls it HIS land) is a prerequisite to the 2nd Coming.
The principalities and powers running the world knew this long before Issac Newton predicted their return to their own land.

God will again, by supernatural means, destroy the enemies of Israel.
Who have been sending missiles/ kidnapping Jews/ murdering families and have been at war with Israel since the United Nations declaration to form a Jewish state after the Holocaust.
Israel lives in six tenths of one percent of the land mass that Muslims occupy.
This tiny bit of land is too much for Islam to allow.
The debt of injustice Islam is building will fall upon those of them who dare to march onto God's land. He said, when they come, there will be a great shaking in the land of Israel and they will know there is a God in Israel.

One of the tenants of Islam is, any land once inhabited by Islam is a subject of war until it is recovered. Anyone who knows this has no illusions about the "Peace Plan" ever coming to fruition voluntarily .

And if you do see all as equal, how come you're only concerned with the atrocities committed by the Muslims but not the ones by the Jews? Are dead Muslim children not worth worrying about because your god hasn't named them his token pets?

As long as Muslims use women and children to hide behind in their attacks, or strap bombs on themselves and their women- there will be more non-combatant causalities.

God did not instigate these.

Do you not see the inherent problem here with religion, in general? Subtract religion out of this equation, and there would most likely be no wars between Israel and its neighbors. Religion, namely the Abrahamic faiths, breeds competition. None are better than or more 'truthful' than the other, but both sides see that a bit differently. Wars over imaginary 'covenants' and fables? I mean, really? The problem isn't Islam. The problem is religion, as a whole.

Again, Israel was not selected for anything at all. That is Bible-speak. The horrors that go on in the name of religion, is beyond human comprehension, at times. Religion is the problem.

Religion has been stamped out in a few places and the results were horrific.
Today in one of them- N. Korea (following China's example of Mao's face plastered all over) the little despot demands to be worshiped.

I contend that within ourselves is the innate desire to be attached to something bigger than ourselves.
This comes out all over the place.
The mania over sports teams, the following that media and rock stars obtain, the chanting about "Mother Earth", yes and the religions.
It is like ducks and water or magnets and iron.

I am quite hopeful, as was shown in one of the giant occultic crop circles last year- the hour glass has the final sands falling out.
See, even the demons know what time it is. Their time is almost up.

When it comes up, I tell my buddies that the world never ends.
