Do people really have time to do this multiple times a day? I have things to do. I remember saying this to someone who was talking about having sex multiple times a day with his girlfriend. I mean, if I'm on vacation or something, or a rare weekend when the boyfriend and I have off together, then fine, but most days, dammit, I have things to accomplish.
I guess the reason it confounds me is the guy was looking at me like I was weird for having interests and hobbies and NOT trying to have sex as often as possible.

Next time someone says, "Gee, Rachel, you're really good at [insert some hobby of mine here]!" I'm going to say, "That's what happens when you don't masturbate multiple times per day."

I think you actually bring up a great point. I know when a relationship is nearly over, when the sex is happening several times a day. This typically means, it's the only thing keeping the relationship going at that point and all we really have "in common."
The last guy I dated fit that.
Last few months, lots of great sex, but no connection otherwise. Plus, out if bed he was a douche, so the end was inevitable.
I think a healthy relationship has a good balance.
