Ahh, I love that.. I have come across that before! Where is it from?
Drat...I thought I came up with it. Ah well Smile

And my robot Hannibal, flipping over another robot called Snakebite from Switzerland.

I used to watch that Robot Wars program religiously. Razor was my favourite robot...it was pretty much undefeatable Smile

I like razor too. It was like the coolest bot ever and rocked. Also hypnodisc which beat razor in the end I believe .Razor rocked and like always won. But its small wheels were very vulnerable to hypnodisc's disc.

To the best of my knowledge Razer (as in raze to the ground) was never beaten by hypnodisk. Most of the time it got either beaten by Tornado, Pussycat, or by itself (motors or speed controllers burning out).

But, back on topic.

Am I correct in assessing that the amount of women on this forum has doubled?

I dunno how many women there was before? I remember when there was like two? And then there was more, don't know how much now exactly? More than before anyway.
Really? I thought hypnodisk once beat razer by using its disc's against its wheels. I thought thats how razer lost one of its successful winning streaks. Although you've been on the program I've only watched it right?

Tornado did use the anti-razer cage with a spinner bar on it in series 5 and RW Extreme, and Pussycat has beaten Razer twice. I could check with Lewis but I don't think Hypno-disc ever did beat Razer.

Maybe it was a bot that looked similar to hypnodisc. Or hynodisc possibly beat sort of razer clone? But I don't think there were any razer clones were there? Maybe one?
Anyway I remember that the vulnerable part of razer was always its small wheels. And of course sometimes it engine failed. Lots of bots' engines failed though didn't they.

I might have to get started in this robot lark. I love building robots and I loved Robot Wars; I just didn't realise people still did it! leo-rcc, do you have any good sites for people wanting to get involved with the sport?
