Wow, anyone who thinks rape of a child, or an adult is a "habit" has no clue of the reality of why it happens.

Rape has nothing to do with sexual orientation or the age of the victim. Rape is a form of expression of power and control over another human. We also see rape in other primates and mammals. It is not a "habit" even with serial rapists, of kids or adults. It is coming from a mental defect which can be a combo of having been abused, or addiction combined with a sense of lack of power in their own lives. It is a form of aggression to fill in the gap of their own lack of power, a way to assert dominance on someone else.

It is why we see men rape other men in prison but are heterosexual. It is why we see men rape boys or girls or both and still go home to a family. It is why we see dads molest their girls or boy. But on a much lesser ratio, women do it too.

If someone has a desire to have sex with kids, the issue really is not age, the issue is picking an easy target to fill in a gap of their own feeling of lack of control of their own life. It is the same with an abusive controlling spouse who is jealous, or micromanages every move you make or physically abuses you to keep you in line. All of those are about power and control.

None of those horrible events have anything to do with a pitchfork villain manipulating the neurons in your brain. If you do any of those things to another human being what you are expressing are your own inadequacies by trying to fill them up with power over someone else.
