Believers!! Don't mislead people

There. I just proved the truth of Bigfoot.

No?

Not sure about the intent of this argument. I have seen atheists employ this to lend a sense of "fairness" to other labels. Please correct me if I am misunderstanding.

But I do hate the "you cant disprove a negative". Which is shifting the burden of proof.

Keeping an open mind about future possibilities in science does not mean treating all claims as equal, nor does it mean we let our brains fall out just because humans can string words and sentences together.

But as far as this particular conspiracy "bigfoot" was bullshit even back in the 1970s was peddled on tv. Yeti and Sasquatch are other names for this bullshit.

On the series Cosmos Neil pointed out the independent fear of comets and the superstitions people worldwide came up with throughout time.

Bigfoot exists for one reason only. Someone managed to market their crap and other people fell for it.

I think Luckie's statement was in in response to MA.

His idea is that even considering the possibility of something existing, means that thing already exists.

Yep I've never heard anyone tell me yes! Bigfoot exists because you think he doesn't!
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

I wish reality worked that way because Angelina Jolie would be giving me a blowjob right now.

That is best for you. I believe it doesn't matter which path you choose.
You can be an Atheist, Buddhist, Christian, Taoism, Hinduist . . no problem at all.

Then why bother thinking about it all?
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

You've asked this question in multiple threads now, and people have shown you verses that directly contradict each other. You respond with some textwall of logic contortions and re-defining words and baseless assertions, then end up with a bold red line saying "Can you show me contradictions in the Quran" again, with a smilie at the end. If you're intent on twisting everything to FIT your conclusion that there are no Quranic contradictions, then no, I suppose I can't show you contradictions in the Quran. But if you stop bending over backwards to smash the square peg through the round hole, the Quran is just as contradictory as the bibble.

1. We are part of something, and to believe we are not, it is stupid. The evidence is clear that everything is subjected to the "law of cause and effect", unless one can prove at least one thing from this whole universe that existed out of nothing. Further, if one is expecting “direct evidence” for Allah etc, it is stupid, and it is arrogant. He can even create or understand flies but yet claim “direct evidence” of Allah etc. One have to rely on “circumstantial and corroborative evidence” , and not on “direct evidence”.

2. There are many religions but none of them can corroborate the story from the beginning of mankind and the universe, except Judaism, Christianity and Islam. From these three, they share the same Prophets, history etc. . . and the Quran is the Final Testament, confirming previous scriptures before the Quran, confirming which is true and false. Therefore and whatever good it sounds in other religions, it is new, it is fake and it is from men.

3. If one learn the principles and logic and read the whole Quran, one cannot find any inconsistencies, even a slight mistake of spelling or misplace of words etc. In fact Allah has challenged the whole mankind to produce one like the Quran, and still . . . No one can produce one like the Quran.

4. The Quran is reasonable, and it does not require one to believe in Allah or something that cannot be proven through facts in order to be a Muslim. Almost all rituals in Islam is fake, and not even from the Quran. Five daily prayers and pilgrimage is very questionable, there is no fasting etc. and Kaabah is fake. The Quran only ask people to live without God, without religion (refer here, here and here), and focus on the practical aspect of life (no nonsense, ie. verse 3.7). The Quran ask people to use "critical thinking" and be "an expert" in every field in order to prove that they are the Believers, ie. it is the main condition of a Believer. The prohibition in the Quran is so simple because the main theme of the Quran is to give "unconditional freedom of religion" and "unity within diversity".

5. If there is no life after death, fine. . I got nothing to lose. I die and everything is over. However, if the Quran is telling the truth. . then I'll be saved and those who disobey the rules in the Quran will abide in Hell forever, yes. . . FOREVER. Therefore, life is just a game, you choose your game, I choose to play my game. Do whatever you like, there is no compulsion; "There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the systems of life", I have no dispute at all, so as the Quran. . unconditional freedom of life. Smile

Quote:And whoever seeks a "dīnan" (دِينًا) other than Islam
it will NEVER be accepted of him
and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers
(3:85)

None can dispute about the verse of Allah but the Unbelievers. [40:4]

And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger
and transgresses His limits

He will put him into the Fire to ABIDE ETERNALLY therein
and he will have a humiliating punishment.
(4.14)

Peace.
