That could be an interesting one...I'd probably have to wait until it was available at Redbox or iTunes to watch it though, and that could be upwards of a month from now since it just released on Blu-ray and DVD.

Sci fi is great for addressing questions of humanity, I think. Mostly because, as you mentioned, we can imagine a "monster" that makes us seem inhuman by comparison. I'll have to catch it on netflix sometime.

Maybe I'll keep it on my to-do list since I already rented Book of Eli. Don Jon is available at Redbox.

It definitely is, and this is a primary reason for science fiction (other than anything in SPAAAACE) being my favorite genre.
It probably will not be available on Netflix streaming for quite some time. It's available to rent for $3.99 on your digital platform of choice, and is quite worth that investment at the very least.

It's a good thing I live alone. Thankfully, my gf doesn't mind since she said she saw much worse in her 70s film class.

I was actually surprised, you wouldn't think that all of the porn sets up an attempt at something profound so easily......but I'll be damned if they don't make a good run around the bases at the end. I won't spoil it for you...lol.
