God's Nature and character

RE: God's Nature and character
Pickup's trying to convey it correctly without applying any bull dust from scripture.
That's about as far as we go and know for now.

Why were the men of old any smarter than mankind of today to know better.
Short answer, they weren't and they didn't.
It was just the birth era of modern religion.
And no-one knew any better to question otherwise.
And the legacy remains.

A poisoness meaningless remnants of a bygone era still creating damage today.
What do most Catholics and Christians think of Scientology?
Crazy? If someone tried it 2000 years ago, still crazy? Any crazier than what we've got now with the OT and NT?
No God, No fear.
Know God, Know fear.

In case it slipped your mind, you clowns think they are the same.

Confusedhock:Confusedhock:Confusedhock:

I don't know if ShaMan was referring to Jesus or not.

But if he was, you have to ask yourself what decent father would subject their child to that kind of torture? Most parents would die for their children, not send them to be executed.

Also, god murdered babies and children all the time for their parents choices.

Hosea 13:16 (KJV)

16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled against her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up.

Sweet huh?!

Need more examples?

What "perfectly just" god would send bears to murder children for laughing at some whiny bald guy?

No, I don't have to ask myself that, because, as noted, the Father didn't subject the son to crucifixion, the son volunteered.

As I subscribe to an age of accountability doctrine, children that die go to heaven, so it's not problematic for me. However, atheists who bring up this passage typically do have a problem, as they ten to support abortion rights.

So, where do the children that do not believe in your god go?

To heaven, per the aforementioned age of accountability doctrine.

Does this apply to just children or does it also work for adults who do not know about your god?

God didn't condemn someone for the crime of another. Jesus volunteered.

What does this even mean?

Volunteered for what? Taking the blame for humanities supposed sins that are only sins because god fucking decided they were.

Do you ever actually listen to the drivel you spout?

Or do you just mindlessly spew out whatever shit your pastor has poured into your empty skull?

This leads to a question.

Where does God get his nature and character from?

If he provides himself with his own nature and character, why can't he change them?

The should be is why should He change anything?
