I like crossed 7's and 2's. I had an elementary school teacher do it. I think she moved off to a montessori school in Boulder, CO, eventually, but I loved that about her. I forget to try to do that, usually, but I like it.

I always cross the 7's when I'm writing here in France, since they put a thingy on the 1 which makes it look like a 7.
I always cross my 7s as well working in accounting. Often you can confuse a 1 for a 7 with obviously potentially disastrous consequences.
But to the OP, we do generally keep on top of poor netiquette as repeatedly poor spelling in thread titles grinds our gears too. But as others have said, there is a lot that goes into editing even a single post, so generally we tend to issue polite reminders instead. Love atheistforums.org?
