When Jesus said that, the terminology was in the present tense. He didn't say no one will ever know the day or hour- so I gave it a shot. Look at all the banter and happy times we have had since (well I look at all the stuff flung at myself as ""Banter"). No only that, when it does come- you will have an alternative to the line of the System as to what happened.

Many translations of the bible say "End of the Age" rather than end of the world- take the" Age" trans, "World" was fine 500 years ago, but better understood now as Age.

Being tolerant can be construed as a compliment... or not, especially when it opens the door to abuse. The question that this raises is: how many more posts is needed to get on the abuse scale? Or perhaps the novelty will wear off, and people will move on, and this thread will die of its normal death by apathy.
