Faux & Fakes paying victim again.

RE: Faux & Fakes paying victim again.
Just the same old idea that the minority should bend towards the majority, whether it makes sense or not. If we did that, we'd still have monarchies and theocracies everywhere, and no democracy. The whole point of democracy is that everyone is supposed to have a voice.

I find that a little disgusting.

You seem to have a pattern of being disgusted by government and religion being separate. And I dare you to find a more stupid argument than 'a national organization should only be concerned about events that happen in the state its headquarters is in'. The FFRF has members all over the country, and responds to complaints from local people who have a beef with some religious intrusion on government.

I am quite sure like the ACLU and multi faith organization "Americans United" FFRF would take a believer's case if that believer felt another group were attempting to use government to set up a social pecking order.

FFRF is a majority atheists organization, but they do not have the goal of using government for force the end of religion by gunpoint. That is a bullshit stereotype both right and left believers hold far too widely.

To have freedom of religion you also have to have a government that protects your right to be free from the religions of others, that also means the right of one religion to be free from the religions of others.

Christians like to do a lot of projecting. Secularists are trying to indoctrinate the kids, and atheism is a religion, and non christians are persecuting christians in America by exercising their first amendment right to free speech.

They stupidly think "secular" means "godless". The word "secular" merely means "neutral". "Sectarian" is what Saudi Arabia is. "Sectarian" is what Iran is. And even on issues of political party "sectarian" is what North Korea is.

"Sect" means "section", a particular part of society. "Secular" means not playing favorites to a particular section of a population.

Believers can be secular as well as atheists. The founders were secular not sectarian. They understood on issues of politics and religion that no one was entitled to monopoly of power. There was no social pecking order where one group was favored more by the government than another.

I know some theists think secular is synonymous with atheism, but the truth is not every theist wants a theocracy in place. They don't want America to turn into these middle east countries where you have honor killing/rape, and women have to cover their bodies because men can't keep it in their pants, and all that.

Your blatant misrepresentation of their purpose is a little disgusting, almost like it's intentional.

Surely you're not accusing a Christian of deception, are you?

It's just terrible that Americans want the Constitution upheld everywhere in America. Tsk, tsk. Whatever could they be thinking? Huh

Some Christians are too stupid to see that separation of Church and State benefits them as well. Shiites who live in Saudi Arabia, as well as non Muslims have no rights. Sunnis and non Muslims living in Iran have no rights.
