In a music video that went viral in my teen years, two Russian hot girls kissed in the song "All the Things She Said":
But the singers -both of them- are not gay.
One of them -Julia Volkova- even said she won't accept a gay son, since the scene of "two men" holding hands is quite not as cute as the scene of two girls holding hands:

It astonishes me that anyone, intelligent or Russian pop star, would reject one of their own children for being gay. Years since, one of my first cousins came out to his father, whose only reaction was, 'If anyone gives yer shyte about it, tell me and I'll break their heads.'

I loved the band when they were big, for reasons that should be blindingly obvious for a teenaged boy, but finding out about it, it’s not too surprising. Russia is still depressingly backward socially, and it’s never been a nation to be too tolerant of those whose views differ too much from the norm.
Also, it doesn’t help that the band itself was created more or less as a vehicle for the sexual fantasies of their producer (I’ve even heard that he came up with the idea for the band while watching kiddie porn, but I can’t find much confirmation, especially not in English-language sources, although I do remember reading press releases touting their absurdly active sex life before they came out as straight) As a result, it’s not really that surprising that one of the most famous Russian lesbians (fake though she may be) isn’t that interested in the cause of gay rights.

That's... disappointing... I thought they really were lesbians and I used to love that song... but I'll never see them in the same light after this.

Well, we all did until Yulia turned out to have been impregnated by her married lover. After that, I learned to just treat is as a sort of theater; I could enjoy Beatlemania knowing they weren't the actual Beatles, I could enjoy t.A.T.u. knowing they weren't actual lesbians.
If it makes you feel any better, Lena is more tolerant, having said in response to her former bandmate's remarks: "Hey, all! I am seeing some comments lately regarding my position about LGBT and my religion. I can say one thing: God is teaching us to live in love, to be tolerant and not to judge other people! And I do so! Love is love and it is a wonderful feeling! I think everybody should be free to love who they love and be with who they want to spend their life with! Xoxo"
