Quick train question...(puzzle)

I'd ask the guard more questions.
How is it he/she received this information? From whom? Why is the guard so sure the information is both credible and certain, given that its so limited? He/she knows for sure that a catastrophe will happen, the speed of the train, that the train is on tracks, that there will be no survivors, yet has no idea what the catastrophe will be, where it will be, or when they will arrive at it. How is he so certain it will happen, and that there will be no survivors? Seems like he's making an uneducated guess.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:
"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay." For context, this is the previous verse: "Hi Jesus" -robvalue

I thought it was a holocaust puzzle, but the luxuries on the train threw that off. So, it's much closer to a hunger games situation.
