Moon Landing conspiracy

RE: Moon Landing conspiracy
Thanks for asking pickup, I am convinced these guys went into low earth orbit.
that's it.
When the PTB saw how successful they were (I, along with most everyone, thought the moon thing was real when I watched it as it was happening).
They kept the knowledge in their pocket that the big lie still works, to use it on 9/11 and various false flags since then.
Just as they blew away JFK.
Just as they knew the Japanese were coming to attack Pearl Harbor, but needed the attack to get the public behind a war the public did not want.
Just as they lied about the Vietnam war.

And most of you guys (who love calling yourselves skeptical) are sucked in harder than Joe public.
I don't get it.

If everyone else isn't falling for conspiracy theories, then maybe the problem isn't with everyone else.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

Simple answer: you are a credulous fool.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Put the jet engine right behind the pilots back in a one piece 1/2" think aluminum shell and try that radio again. It isn't even discernable in the audio as they land.

This isn't really the case. An air-superiority/interceptor fighter like the F-16 in the video has precious little wasted weight. This is the engine housing of an F-16, sans engine:

Certainly there will be vibration dampers at the mounting bolts to minimize metal fatigue, but they don't install sound insulation. The frame itself, being a metal skeleton, is not very sound absorptive.

Wow, that's some stupid drivel. I'm sure you think, the soviets were in on it, since at the same time, the Apollo crew landed, they had an unmanned craft on it's way to the moon, which crashed.

Don't you think, they wouldn't have said something? I mean, apart from all the conspiracy theories surrounding the moon landing having been already debunked as pure and utter hroseshit?

A vehicle in low Earth orbit moves in a circular - actually elliptical - path around the Earth. That's what 'orbit' means. The vehicle will move rapidly around the planet, making many orbits per day. It may even be naked-eye visible from the ground.

A vehicle heading for the Moon moves in a stretched elliptical path and take longer to reach the satellite.

How many astronomers and others with a general or working knowledge of the subject would fail to spot the difference?
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Stimbo, you mean to tell that, a craft the size of a small van traveling at rocket speeds would have been able to be spotted by anyone?
They have trouble keeping tract of airplanes down here right now, no less a flying speck up there 40 years ago.
Even radar would not work at that altitude.

Have you ever looked at the fucking night sky? What do you think these fast moving light thingies are that occasionally streak across the sky? And how do you think the NASA kept track of any of their flights, how did the Soviets, how does anyone going into space?

Do you actually choose to be daft?

This is factually incorrect. Radar works at any altitude, and we had not only radar-mapped the Moon by the late 60, we had long-range airborne radar -- as did the Soviets.
