It will be sunny on Sunday.
But on Monday the north east is supposed to get another snow storm which will fuck up all the people trying to fly back home to Boston.
Grr, went to two different stores to find a new Seahawks tee for the game Sunday. Not a single one in my size.
I looked today also.. no luck finding anything I liked.
You'll both have to watch the game topless, I'm afraid.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
-Stephen Jay Gould
It's settled, then.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I have to work at the Preserve tomorrow, but we're projected a 70% chance of rain today, and 50% tomorrow. I'm thinking the Preserve will probably be closed and I won't have to miss the first half.
Even I remember the 1985 Chicago Bears....it was back when I still cared about football. This piece by Bryant Gumbel on HBO's Real Sports is a sobering illustration of what the game does to people.
