A couple of years ago a close friend went out out to the theme from Hitchhikers Guide and Pink Floyds "Shine on you crazy diamond" (both perfect for him)

I'm no help. I like bleak. I would have the following from Stars of the Lid, a drone music entity.

For me, just recycle what you can and incinerate the rest.
No fuss required. Playing Cluedo with my mum while I was at Uni: "You did WHAT? With WHO? WHERE???"
I want to be buried with my family, wrapped in enough gold to buy a small country. And the land must be chemically treated for 1km in all directions, ensuring that no living thing will use even one cell of my body for its own dirty little purposes.

Whenever I hear it, I am thankful that I do not understand much Latin. But, it is a great piece of music, and otherwise very fitting for the occasion. I'd like a little Bach, Coltrane's version of "My Favorite Things", "Grazing in the Grass" from Hugh Masekela, and a song or two I've written.
