You're probably right about them combining the two characters. I don't think we've seen anyone of the Ironborn except Theon, Balon, and Asha (Yara in the series) so far. I wonder if they'll introduce Aeron as well? He always intrigued me. I suppose they'll do what they did with Ser Davos' children and condense all of them into one character like Mathos. I expect a LOT of changes in order to make "A Feast for Crows" palatable in video format. It was my second favorite book of the five so far because of the sheer amount of plot advancement, but there is a lot going on that it would be nearly impossible for someone who hadn't read the books to keep up with all the new POVs and strange lands. What kills me is that storylines like Young Griff and Jon Connington, and the Second Sons in Yunkai, and Sam in the Citadel, Paxter Redwyne's fleet from the Arbor, and even the Martells fuming and plotting revenge for the death of Oberyn. It's a lot to cover, and I look forward to how they're going to adapt it.
ETA: I could see the kingsmoot being the opening scene of season 5. With Aeron Damphair calling for it, with Euron, Victarion, and Asha squabbling over power.
I'm hoping that the Young Griff and Jon Con casting has been kept secret because of their characters' nature in the plot. If they are cut, Tyrion is going to have a fairly boring storyline. Jaqen's actor is supposedly returning in Season 5, probably as the Kindly Man but I'd much prefer it if they included some form of the Oldtown plot.
I think that Season 5 will kick off with Arya arriving in the house of black and white, since the thats where Season 4 ended, and thats what was in the first teaser. The faith militant are meant to be in the first episode aswell.

As requested, here are all of the primers for each of the 4 seasons of the series so far. Just a note, having watched all of them, these are primers for the season for which they are labelled. They do not contain any spoilers for that season. For example, the Season 3 primer doesn't contain any information about what happened in Season 3, but does contain some spoilers from Season 2.

Haven't been able to stick with the books so I'm just going off the show.
Favorite characters change season to season but the overall favs have been Bran, Arya, Tyrion, Sam and Gilly, and I still like Dany but her story line is getting kind of boring. Cersei is among the favorites and, though it's my understanding that a lot of people can't stand her, I rather like Sanza in the she's-in-a-shitty-situation-and-I-want-her-to-get-out-of-it way.
Jon has been demoted from the favorites list.
