hahaha dolphins can't accomplish what we can? so what if cockroaches can't do what we can? cockroaches will probably out live us even if they can't build skyscrapers and nuclear bombs.

I believe it has been established that his "yardstick" (if you will) for measuring the space between humans and those animal thingies is the existence of a soul. Seeing that he cannot prove a soul exists and yet he clings to the idea, this conversation will never come to a logical conclusion. Wanting to be different from "animals" is the entire reason he debates these issues, imo. And what about animals that can do amazing things that we can't? We can't fly, swing through trees, open nuts with our teeth, sniff out food that is miles away, see a rat move through grass from a quarter mile away, hear extremely high (or low) pitched sounds, dive into the deepest parts of the ocean, run 50 miles an hour, or use our own personal radar to find things in the dark. Try dropping a naked human into the ocean, middle of the desert, the arctic, or the wilderness and see how long he survives. In many ways, animals are superior to us!
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
For one thing, they never wasted any of their time inventing gods to worship.

And you've managed to prove this discussion to be a complete farce by choosing to ignore all of the evidence presented to you and re-writing your standards of evidence as we present it to you. You equate blind faith to be the same thing as science, ignoring the all of the evidence it relies upon. You have yet to explain many important points about your positions and you've answered no inquiries on this topic. You're wasting everyone's time and energy.
If today you can take a thing like evolution and make it a crime to teach in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools and next year you can make it a crime to teach it to the hustings or in the church. At the next session you may ban books and the newspapers...
