Three members of the Ku Klux Klan who had worked in Florida’s state prisons were arrested on Thursday in an alleged plot to kill a black inmate upon his release, authorities said.

The men were plotting to kill the inmate in retaliation for his getting into a fight with one of them, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement.

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa County Sheriff’s office says a reserve deputy fatally shot a man he intended to tase.

They say 73-year-old Robert Bates accidentally grabbed his gun instead of his taser as he tried to help subdue a suspect black market gun dealer.
Instead of tasing the suspect, he shot him.

Obviously this is just a "training" issue.  Perhaps after they teach him the difference between a taser and a pistol they can move on to the advanced course and teach him the difference between his ass and his elbow?

A drunken, tuxedo-clad rookie Ohio cop faces charges for viciously beating a man outside a Cleveland police fundraiser, according to authorities.

Akron Patrolman Adam Campbell, 28, is on unpaid leave and could be fired for the brutal March 29 beatdown that left 31-year-old Steven Crupp hospitalized with serious injuries, according to the department. The cop is still a probationary officer and was only hired on Nov. 3, an Akron police spokesman told the Northeast Ohio Media Group.

Could have been one of Akron's "Finest."
