When people ask me why I blaspheme religion, this is yet another reason. I will not coddle the insecurities of violent assholes! This is yet another reason I call religion poison. Not just Islam but all religions. No not to get rid of it by force, but to get rid of the idea that ideas OF ANY KIND deserve to be free from getting offended.

This is why I get down on my fellow liberals. You don't help the oppressed like Christians or gays or atheists living in the Middle East or even minority Muslims who are killed by other Muslims, by caving in to insecure assholes. Our modern civility in the west was gained by those refusing to be bullied by the insecurities of bullies.
