Okay, how about this.... please provide any evidence that demonstrates your deity truly exists. Is that simple enough? Of course we will dismiss any "evidence" that is conjecture, "personal experience", coincidence or an unexplained event. We're on a jury. You are the attorney who must prove to us that your client ("God") truly exists beyond a reasonable doubt. The floor is yours!

I don't know what you're talking about here. I have seen many examples where atheists have presented a case of "if God, then why X?" and believers can only offer lame platitudes in an attempt to rationalize it away. Usually it's crap like "We can't know God's purpose", "God has his reasons" or my favorite, "We are all guilty of sin and deserve what we get". I have never seen a case where a believer has "blown away" the argument.
Quote:One funny thing I have noticed is that when provided with an analogy, most atheists tend to then take that analogy literally. But when presented with a literal scenario, they take it metaphorically and twist it into a different analogy altogether to 'prove' their point!
Examples?
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?
