I'm surprised too. Would have bet on it.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Several of them have the hallmark of a temporary blowup. I've wondered if there weren't a good way to give someone a 48 hour cooling off period without banning, maybe some of these bans wouldn't have happened. But people would probably exploit such a thing. I'm not sure how or if such a system would work.

Well, the last two have only been temp bans- and temp bans almost always come after, at least, one unofficial warning, followed by an official. This is what happened with both Polaris and Drich. We are extremely lenient.

Yeah. The background stuff that people don't see is pretty robust. Generally the temp-ban is like strike 4.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

And sometimes it's the 4th strike 4 because the person has been toeing the line for years, being just enough of a cock.

A temp ban pretty much is a cooling off period, I would say. It's kind of saving them from themselves by not letting them keep going and getting permanently banned.
We probably have a lot of theists reading the forum who don't want to make an account. To be honest, they are the theists most likely to benefit from what we write I think. Especially so when taking on an entrenched theist. Hi guys! ![]() ![]() It must be daunting to join as a theist, I do respect those that have the balls. I've not even looked into joining a theist forum. Feel free to send me a private message.

I joined Rapture Ready, but have never posted.
